The Nurse Coordinator works as a member of a
multidisciplinary team. This position is responsible for the
nursing management of patients undergoing stem cell
transplant, related therapies or research protocols for
hematologic malignancies. The nurse accomplishes this
through collaboration with the interdisciplinary team,
involvement in research protocols, coordination of care,
phone consultations, maintenance of clinical standards and
involvement in education activities. The nurse coordinator
is expected to practice in accordance with professional
standards, core values, and with a commitment to service
excellence. |
Education, Training & Experience (includes
licenses or certifications):
Current
Oregon RN license.

Knowledge,
Skills & Abilities:
Minimum
5-years nursing experience.
Experience
in Bone Marrow Transplant/Leukemia and/or other oncologic
specialties preferred.
Demonstrated
ability to organize complex patient care and to work
independently.
Must
possess excellent communication skills. |
