This is the front line manager for day-to-day
operations in the QA department, and will supervise
Engineers as direct reports. Incumbents must combine
technical expertise with leadership skills to successfully
accomplish assigned tasks.
The QA Manager will manage their staff to accomplish:
All
tasks in support of quality assurance.
Management
of release and configuration of all software.
Departmental
and Corporate goals and objectives.
He/she will:
Interface
with Managers from other IT and business teams to ensure
testing is being conducted as expected in the needed
timeframes.
Be
the primary focal point (single point of accountability) for
testing with the group.
Ensure
all schedules for QA tasks are met in a timely fashion.
Continue
to increase the use of test automation. |
